Rev Dr Supo Ayokunle Of Baptists Extraction Emerges New CAN President

 Despite the call by Northern CAN to postponed the election, the
National Body of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), today,
Tuesday 14th night 2016,elected Reverend Dr. Supo Ayokunle as its
National President and Elder Prof Joseph Otubu as the National Vice
President.

The new president, who was of Nigerian Baptists extraction defeated
other contestants in a keenly contested election, was hitherto the
vice President to outgoing Rev Ayo Oritsenjafo.

Dr. Supo is the immediate past National President of Nigerian Baptists
Convention.

The elections which has been long anticipated to have a Northerner as
CAN President, eventually went the opposite.

We pray for the new president to lead and take the country closer to God.
