Paul I. K. Dairo is a famous singer during the public holiday pounded on the issue of street harking and advised the government not to banned street hawking describing it as the last hope for a common man to survive.
He shared it on his facebook wall that it is the last hope for survival.
It means THAT'S THE LAST HOPE FOR SURVIVAL. Think about how much they earn a day. Is it enough to feed them talk less of their families?
Why do we make laws that push people who are already frustrated with life to the wall.
If their last hope for survival is taken away, I'm afraid of what's going to happen next.
I heard a hawker was crushed to death by a Govt owned bus while been chased by a Govt law agency and the bus was burned down by angry Nigerians. Is this not the height of frustration?
If we are somehow bothered when they push their wares in our faces in traffic.
We should be more bothered what they might be pushing in our faces after this ban on street trading .
PROBABLY GUNS ! IT'S A THIN LINE BETWEEN HUNGER AND REVOLUTION!
May God help us all!
