Former Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro Clock 58: A Comrade With Vision

Remember him, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, a former super minister who supervised and saddled with the affairs of the Paramilitary Agencies in the Country. He was the only minister that generated over 51billion naira to the Federal Government.

Despite all the controversial saga that surrounded him, he was able to triumph and scale through all the circumstances, he said after the death of his father, as fate will have it, he kept progressing from one level to another.

The only Comrade that Prominent Idoma citizens and media practitioners strongly condemned his trial by the EFCC

During his trial, Idoma Young Elite expressed great concern regarding the turnout of event in the country, especially the on-going alleged witch-hunt of some politicians from Idoma clime.

The persecution did not distract Moro from continuing with the fight for the progress and development of Idomaland as well as the entire nation.

That Moro remains one of the strongest voices in Idoma enclave. He is a true ‘homeland defender’ and the mirror of the land. No wonder the Idoma youths condemn his persecution by some political enemies who are bent on denting his hard-earned image and reputation.

They strongly believe that Moro has committed no crime in this regard. This is a man whose interest was to create employment for his able youth amidst unemployment that has taken toll on the country.

This is a man who had no bad intention but to have all unemployed Nigerians participated in the ill fated NIS recruitment examination.

 It is the prayers of his family members, friends and uncountable admirers that God will continue to bless him with long life, sound health and sound mind to continue to be an quintessence of service to humanity and fatherland for many years to come as he celebrated his 58th birthday Anniversary 3rd July.
