The senior pastor of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Kabene-surubu village in Kauru local government council of Kaduna State, Rev. Yusuf Magaga has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.The Kidnappers, Correspondents' gathered have demanded for a N2 million ransom before they could release the their abductor.
According to a resident of the Kabene-surubu village, Mr. Jacob Wakili told our Correspondent that the sad event took place at about 2AM Wednesday.
He said "My village was attacked by fulani herdsmen criminals but thank God the people were able to mobilised for defence, but d the criminals still destroyed part of ecwa church, took away the Pastor of the church and left few injured."
According to him, if not for the intervention of the local vigilante, the situation would have been worse.
He said, the kidnappers are demanding the sum of two million naira to release the Pastor.
Our reporter gathered that members of the community and the church members have been thrown into tears following the abduction.
