65 Foreign Companies To Participate In 1st Ecowas Agriculture Agro-Allied And Technology Exhibition In Kaduna

 About sixty-five foreign companies have indicated interest to
 participate in the fouth coming first Ecowas Agriculture Agro-Allied
 and Technology Exhibition in kaduna scheduled for 7th October.
   The Chairman,Global Exhibition and business services Limited and
 Chairman Exhibition Main Organising Committee,Alhaji (Dr) Bawa Garba
 has stated in a press conferance that a total of 65 foreign companies
 have indicated their interest to participate in the forth coming 1st
 Ecowas Agriculture,Agro-Allied and Technology Exhibition organised by
 the Global Exhibition and Business Services Limited which is scheduled
 to hold between Friday 7th of October,2016 to Sunday,16th of
 October,2016 at Kaduna International Trade And Investment Centre , KM
 4, Kaduna-Zaria Road,Rigachikun,Kaduna.

  He added that the opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday,8th
 October,2016 . Alhaji (Dr) Bawa Garba. Also said the theme of the 1st
 Ecowas Agriculture,Agro-Allied and Technology Exhibition is
 Agricutural Production and Processing for self sufficiency,poverty
 eradication and economic development.

  The theme he explained was deliberately chosen to recognize the
 commitment of the Government in its diversification policies . The
 private sector thus replace public resources as more efficient
 substitute and shift from mono product economy for. Stronger
 commitment toward Nigeria Economic Development . Also in addition to
 the theme above, Alhaji Bawa Garba has said that an Agriculture
 Business Rural Round- Table discussion is planned on "Nigeria
 Agricultural Policy: Problems and Prospects". Where policy
 makers,agriculturists, stakeholders shall discuss the topic with a
 view to identify missing links and advice the government accordingly .

 Already, he Stated that,Sub-Committees have been constituted and have
 started working relentlessly to ensure successful hosting of this
 International Specialised Agric . Exhibition . On the part of
 participants,he said Global Exhibition is envisaging large turn-out
 both locally and Internationally . So far according to him 65
 companies from West African countries,China,Ukraine,Iran,South
 Korea,France,South Africa,Kenya,the Rice Fermers Association, etc
 have. Indicated their willingness to participate in the exhibition .

 Dr.Bawa Garba further added that they were expecting formal bookings
 from companies from Brazil,Isreal.etc . Finallly,he appeal to the
 Media to give adequate publicity and good coverage it deserves . He
 expressed confident that they would be up to the task, given their
 integrity and resourcefulness .
